<P>After selecting Add New Project, the Select Project Type screen displays. This screen allows you to select Add New Project or Copy Existing Project/Bookset. The Enter Project Name text box is where the project (and final bookset) name is decided.</P>

<P>New Project names should be distinctive and unique that explain:</P>

  <UL><li class = "normbullet1"> general supported function, and </li>

  <li class = "normbullet1"> release or version number (if necessary)</li>

</UL><P>Examples of previous project (and final bookset) names:</P>

  <UL><li class = "normbullet1"> Experion PKS R201</li>

  <li class = "normbullet1"> Experion PKS R201 Spec PDF</li>

  <li class = "normbullet1"> You are logged onto the Knowledge Builder Client computer with Administrator privileges.</li>

  <li class = "normbullet1"> You have launched Knowledge Builder Developer, and selected Add New Project</li>

</UL><H4><B><I>Considerations</I></B></H4>

  <UL><li class = "normbullet1"> You are familiar with interacting with dialog boxes on a computer running Windows.</li>

  <li class = "normbullet1"> You have defined your bookset strategy that considers:</li>

    <UL><li class = "normbullet2"> A bookset with a unique name for the bookset you are creating</li>

    <li class = "normbullet2"> The files (books with unique names) that will be included in bookset</li>

</UL></UL><P>The following procedure is used to select the Select Project Type to Add and Add New Project:</P>

<P>After selecting Add New Project, the Select Project Type screen displays. This screen allows you to select Add New Project or Copy Existing Project/Bookset.</P>

<p class="adnorm">Copy Existing Project/Bookset option allows the user <B>to only copy previously user-created projects or booksets.</B> Experion PKS release booksets are not available for copying in the Knowledge Builder Developer since this utility allows modification of booksets.</p>
<p class="adnorm">The Knowledge Builder Backup/Restore utility allows Experion PKS booksets to be exported (and thus copied) for deployment to another location.</p>
